Cervantes’ is at it again, bringing legendary collaborative performances to Denver music fans.
This time, they’re presenting Steve Kimock and Friends, a jamtastic combination of legendary prog rock and jazz fusion artists.
Steve Kimock, aka the “Guitar Monk,” has been earning fans across genres for more than 30 years. He is known mostly for his expert improvisation abilities, as well as his horde of impressive collaborations with artists like Bruce Hornsby, John Cipollina, Jerry Garcia, Peter Frampton, Bonnie Raitt, The Allman Brothers, Buddy Miles, Buddy Cage, Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, Bobby Vega, Martin Fierro, Joe Satriani, Baaba Maal, Angelique Kidjo, Elvin Bishop, George Porter Jr., Steve Winwood, Derek Trucks, Ivan Neville, Grace Slick, Papa John Creach, Norton Buffalo, Amos Garrett, Warren Haynes, Hadi Al Sadoon, Stephen Perkins, Nicky Hopkins, Freddie Roulette…..*stops to catch breath.*
