We were just at The Fillmore on 1/26, and we’re hasty to repeat the treat. Biscuits were broken, lasers flew on a spectacular display, the bass rolled, and Menert brought the funk. There was also mention of a new album coming soon, so keep your ears handy. But you don’t have a single moment to rest, because it’s getting ready to go down again sooner than you may think.
Isn’t that the Denver way, though?
The kings of electronic jam fusion, Lotus, are stopping by one of the best venues in the state once again, ready to saturate your ears with sweet melodies. Their newest EP, Drink The Light, will likely be on full display, as well as their most recent full-length album, Eat The Light. If you’re sensing a theme growing, good for you for being so observant. Now, it’s your responsibility to show up and Be The Light.
The band is also stretching their philanthropic muscle by partnering with Conscious Alliance to put on an Art That Feeds food drive. The first 20 people to donate a non-perishable food item or suggested monetary donation will receive a limited edition commemorative poster. Considering Lotus has been together nearly 30 years, this is a once-in-a-lifetime collectable that you don’t want to miss out on. All in all, it’s going to be a very special, funky, wholesome, and downright amazing event.
Get your tickets here for $34.50 each to ensure you don’t miss out on a fantastic night.
Oh, and the event is 16 and up, so don’t be afraid to show out if you’re a little younger than the average fan. The more the merrier! See you there!
